Meet Your Violin Teacher
Bracha is an experienced violin teacher with a strong classical background and a warm, encouraging approach. She works with students of all ages and levels, tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals, abilities, and learning style.
Bracha is a graduate of the Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) Conservatory. Her professional career included playing first violin with the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra under renowned conductor Rudolf Barshai, as well as performing with other ensembles. She has been teaching violin since 1978, bringing decades of professional performance and teaching experience to her students.
A Strong Classical Foundation
My teaching method is rooted in the classical Galamian tradition, while remaining flexible enough to meet the individual needs of each student.
For young students and beginners, I believe that a strong technical foundation is essential. Scales, arpeggios, and exercises for both the left and right hands develop strength, coordination, and technical freedom. These fundamentals give students the tools they need to progress beyond technical limitations and develop an artful command of the violin.
Performance is equally important. I create as many opportunities as possible for students to perform, helping them develop confidence, musical expression, and the ability to share their music with an audience.
